Unique Personalised Wedding Favours

A favour is a take home gift that should be Personalised to leave a long lasting impression on your guests. It is a tradition for many western cultures for guests to receive favours at weddings, baby showers, engagement parties, retirement parties, anniversary parties and birthdays. A favour is a thank you gift for your guests and a keepsake of your special day.

The tradition of wedding favours is a very old one. It is believed the aristocrats began the giving of bomboniere at weddings. Bomboniere in those days was a silver stone box containing sugar ( in those days, sugar was very expensive ), symbolizing wealth and prosperity. As sugar became more affordable, bomboniere changed to sugar coated almonds. Traditionally, five Jordan almonds are presented in a confection box or wrapped in elegant fabric to represent fertility, longevity, wealth, good health and happiness. Sugar coated almonds may still be given to this day, however wedding favours have evolved into more diverse gifts that is now a reflection of the Bride & Groom.
