Real Engagement Of Russell & Peita

The engagement gathering of Russell & Peita was held in Berillee about an hour from Sydney on a beautiful rural property on a rainy Sunday. The downpour did not dampen the smiles and laughter of everyone who attended. The party was a smart / casual afternoon barbeque with family and friends who gathered from many parts of Sydney and the Central Coast.

I could not help but to admire the work that went into decorating the surrounds. Peita's flair for creativity was shown when she displayed beautiful hand-made printed bunting, doily bunting strung across the veranda and a gorgeous D.I.Y Wishing Well present box.

The vintage lolly buffet was not only a hit with the kids but with the adults too. Sweet selections and canapés were sampled and enjoyed. When it came time for the formalities, Each raised a glass of sweet Moscato to cheer the happy couple as they made a wish and cut the cake.

Late afternoon arrived and we settled down with a nice cup of coffee and of course more candy and we watched the rain come and go. The party was a lovely and understated affair, which was warm, inviting and showed the couples creative flair.
